Who it fits
People carrying a specific event (an accident, an assault, a medical or birth trauma, a sudden loss) and people whose everyday reactions are clearly larger than the current situation.
Where daily functioning is unstable, or where support between sessions is thin, we build that first. Skipping preparation is the most common way EMDR goes badly.
