Why transitions are disorienting
A transition removes the structures that used to tell you who you were: the role, the routine, the people who knew the earlier version. What is left is real freedom and real vertigo, usually at once.
The work is not about accelerating you through it. It is about naming what was lost, even in a good change, and building the next set of structures deliberately rather than by default.
